BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College's Terence Pollock and Willie Williams collected Mid-South Conference Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors after Saturday's 27-21 season opening win, the league announced Monday.

Pikeville (Ky.) College's Kyle Chilton earned the MSC Special Teams Player of the Week nod.

Pollock, a junior running back, rushed for 133 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown to earn MSC Offensive Player of the Week. The Orange Park, Fla., native recorded his seventh career 100-yard game of his career in helping the Bulldogs to the six-point win over Lambuth (Tenn.) University.

With his 133 yards, Pollock became the sixth player in the program's history to eclipse 1,500 yards in his Willie Williamscareer. Pollock has amassed 1,506 rushing yards in his career.

Williams, a senior linebacker, recovered a pair of fumbles and recorded seven solo tackles and 13 total stops to earn MSC Defensive Player of the Week. The Miami, Fla., native also contributed a pair of sacks and 2-1/2 tackles for loss in Union's first win over Lambuth since 1997.

Saturday's game was Williams' first ever in a Bulldog uniform.

The Bulldogs (1-0 overall) will play host to Malone (Ohio) College Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
