WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - A goal in each half proved to be too much for the Union College men's soccer team to overcome in a 2-0 setback at University of the Cumberlands Tuesday.

Cumberlands, ranked No. 31 nationally, used two goals from Igor Petsch en route to the win. Both of his goals were assisted by John Mills.

With the results, Union holds a 1-1-1 record and Cumberlands moved to 2-1.

In goal for Union, Jonathan Shaw (Merseyside, England) stopped nine shots. On the other end, Roland Day had six saves for Cumberlands.

Of Union's four shots, only two were on goal. In comparison, Cumberlands too 10 shots and six were on goal.
