BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College men's soccer team has added Chris Riley for the 2008 season. Riley is the latest Bulldog to come from England and gives Union five English players for the upcoming season.

The newest Bulldog is a native of Cornwall and will play in the Union midfield. He scored 18 goals with 13 assists as an exchange student in New York at Byram Hills High School.

"Chris has the ability to get forward and support the midfielders well," said Union head coach Tyler Brock. "He also has the ability to play as a center back if we need as well"

Brock looks for Riley to come in and make an impact early on a team that went 10-7-1 last season.

Union opens the 2008 campaign on Wednesday, August 27, at West Virginia Tech.
