MOBILE, Ala. - Three Union College women's golfers were named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes today, as Kelli Hensley (JR/Berea, Ky.), Katie Nusz (JR/Mount Washington, Ky.), and Brittany Zins (SR/Cincinnati, Ohio) collected the honor. The entire team was announced this morning by the National Office. 

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status. In all, 118 women's golf student-athletes were named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

On the course this season, the trio of Hensley, Nusz, and Zins paced the Bulldogs to sixth place finishes during the Appalachian Athletic Conference Regular Season, and at the 2014 AAC Championship Tournament last month.
