BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College head men's soccer coach Tyler Brock has announced that Neshaun Senior has signed his National Letter of Intent, and will join the Bulldog program in time for the start of the 2014 season later this Summer.

Senior, who is a native of May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica, comes to Union from Jacksonville College, a junior college in Jacksonville, Texas. He will enter the Bulldog roster as a junior this coming fall.

"Neshaun is very aggressive defensive center-mid that likes to get stuck in and win a tackle," said Brock. "With two years under his belt, he can be a guy that is very vocal and will be a field general out on the pitch. Neshaun is also the kind of guy that you can move around on the defensive side of the field an play multiple positions."

At Jacksonville College this past season, Senior was named the team MVP. In his native country of Jamaica, he helped Glenmuir High School capture the 2009 Ben Francis Championship, while at Denbigh High, his team won the 2004 and 2006 Parish U-13 and U-15 Championship, respectively, and the Issa U-14 Title in 2005.

"The fact that was named MVP of his junior college team shows that he can be an impact player and a leader for the squads he plays for," continued Brock. "We are very excited to have to have Neshaun joining our Union soccer family."

Neshaun is the son of Maureen Butler and Dewain Senior.
