BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College men's tennis head coach Roscoe Moonieyan has announced that Ethan Wright has signed his National Letter of Intent, and will join the Bulldog program in time for the start of the 2014 Fall Semester.

Wright, a native of Brandenburg, Ky., joins the Bulldog program from a prep career at Meade County High School.

There, he has qualified for the KHSSA Tournament as a doubles player the last two seasons, while competing in several Central Kentucky Tennis Series events. Wright was also the Region Runner-Up for the "Sophomore of the Year" award, and has also qualified for the State Finals of the USTA Junior Team Tennis tournament.

"[Wright] is a very athletic individual making his room to grow so much more," said Moonieyan. "It will be good having a player with competitive experience and success coming into the program, especially with how pleasant of a young man he is."

Union is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).
