BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College men's tennis head coach Roscoe Moonieyan has announced that Trey Moffett has signed his National Letter of Intent, and plans to join the Bulldog program in time for the Fall 2014 semester.

Moffett will enroll at Union from a prep career at Chesterton High School in Porter, Ind. There, Moffett has been a member of the varsity tennis team since his freshman year, serving as the team's captain the last two years. In addition, Moffett has earned the sportsmanship, most improved, and coaches awards during his high school career.

"[Moffett] is a very well rounded player," said Moonieyan. "He has been a very successful doubles player, which we are excited about, because having that experience will be beneficial with doubles being a big factor in NAIA tennis.

"He is a great ambassador of the sport of tennis, and he will flourish under our system here at Union with the work ethic that he has."

Union is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).
