CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - No. 18 Union suffered its second shutout loss of the season, dropping a 10-0, eight-inning decision to host Campbellville (Ky.) on Wednesday.

The loss puts Union at 24-11 overall, while Campbellsville is now 18-14 on the year.

The Tigers scored four in the second and three in the fourth to build a 7-0 cushion. The score remained that way until the eighth when Campbellsville tacked on three more runs to lock up the 10-0 win.

Campbellsville outhit Union 12-5. Ricky McColloch led the Tigers at the plate in going 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs.

Union's best scoring chance came in the the top of the first, putting runners on second and third with one out. However, a fielder's choice resutled in LaVance Anderson (SR/Bowling Green, Ky.) being tagged out at home for the second out. Ryan Horvath (JR/Madison Heights, Mich.) was hit by a pitch to load the bases, but a groundout to short ended the threat.

The Bulldogs put two runners on with two outs in the seventh. Yet, a fielder's choice squashed the potential rally.
