MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. - The Union men's and women's tennis teams eached dropped a match to host Milligan (Tenn.) in Appalachian Athletic Confernce play on Wednesday with the men losing 8-1 and the women 9-0.

The Union men are now 0-6 overall and 0-3 in league play, while the women are 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the AAC.

Men's Match - Milligan 8, Union 1

Milligan took the early lead by winning all three doubles matches. However, not all of the doubles wins were easy. Louis Molina and Eric Mikhlin gave Colin Bunmann and Matias Yanez all they could handle in an 8-6 contest. The Buffaloes won the other two doubles matches by the scores of 8-0 and 8-2.

Molina scored Union's lone point in a thrilling singles match. Molina won the first set 6-0 over Bunmann before falling 6-4 in the second. Molina picked the win by taking the tiebreaker 9-7. Mikhlin almost scored a win in his singles match but fell 6-4, 6-2 to Yanez. 

Joshua Souane played well in his match, forcing a tiebreak before falling 1-6, 7-5 1-0 (6).

Milligan is now 7-7 overall and 1-1 in the AAC

Women's Match - Milligan 9, Union 0

Milligan showed why it is the 18th-ranked team in the NAIA as it recorded a 9-0 win.

The Buffaloes won all three doubles matches 8-0 and took all singles matches 6-0, 6-0.

Milligan is now 10-4 overall and 2-0 in conference action.
