ATHENS, Tenn. - The Union tennis teams hit another bump in the road as they dropped Appalachian Athletic Conference matches at host Tennessee Wesleyan on Friday. The men lost 9-0, while the women lost 8-1.

The Union men are now 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the AAC, while the women are 0-4 overall and 0-3 in conference play.

Men's Match - Tennessee Wesleyan 9, Union 0

The host Bulldogs (8-2 overall, 2-0 AAC) took control of the match in doubles play, taking all three matches by the scores of 8-2, 8-0 and 8-1.

In singles play, Eric Mikhlin came the closest to picking up a point for the Union as he dropped a 6-3, 6-2 contest to Ezequiel Gils. Louis Molina lost his match 6-1, 6-3 to David Escobosa in No. 1 singles.

Women's Match - Tennessee Wesleyan 8, Union 1

Tennessee Wesleyan (7-2 overall, 2-1 AAC) cruised through doubles play, winning all three matches by the identical score of 8-0.

Union's lone point came by default as Tennessee Wesleyan didn't have a player for the No. 6 singles match.
