BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union tennis dropped a couple of matches to visiting Campbellsville (Ky.) on Tuesday with the men falling 8-1 and the women 9-0.

Both the Union men and women are 0-3 on the year.

Men's Match - Campbellsville 8, Union 1

The Bulldogs faced a tough foe in the 24th-ranked Tigers. But while Union put up a valiant fight, Campbellsville was able to notch the 8-1 decision.

Union scored the match's first point in doubles play as Louis Molina (FR/Las Palmas of Canarias, Spain) and Eric Mikhlin (SO/Edgewater, N.J.) posted an 8-3 win. However, Campbellsville took the remaining two doubles matches by the scores of 8-0 and 8-1.

In singles play, Mikhlin came the closest at stealing a point as he fell 6-4, 6-2 to Parker Jones.

Women's Match - Campbellsville 9, Union 0

The 23rd-ranked Lady Tigers proved to be a strong opponent for the Bulldogs in recording the 9-0 decision.

Campbellsville swept the doubles matches by the scores of 8-1, 8-0 and 8-1.

Summer Manning (SO/Taylor Mill, Ky.) had the most success in singles play, yet she still fell 6-2, 6-1 to Megan Charity.
