BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College interim head softball coach Hannah Griffin has announced that Kelsea Satchwell has signed her National Letter of Intent, and plans to join the Bulldog program this Fall.

Satchwell a Warsaw, Ky. native, has prepped at Gallatin County High School, excelling in three sports at the school - volleyball, basketball and softball.

In softball, Satchwell was her team's captain in 2013 as a junior, earning a spot on the Eighth Region All-A Classic Tournament team during the season. In 2012, she was named to the KHSAA Region Eight All-Tournament team, along with the 31st District All-Tournament squad. In 2011, she recorded the most steals on the team, and was named the squads best offensive player in 2010. In all, Satchwell has been a member of a program that captured three straight 31st District titles from 2010 through 2012.

Satchwell's accolades continue to rack up on the volleyball and basketball courts. In volleyball, she was the team captain in 2013, also earning a spot on the 2012 All-A Classic Tournament team during her junior year. In hoops, Satchwell paced Galatin County to a District Championship in 2013-14 and a regional Final Four appearance, leading the squad as team captain.

Union College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).
