LONDON, Ky. - The Union College women's golf team sits in fourth place overall after the first round of the 2014 Women's SEKI, played Monday at wet and cold Crooked Creek Golf Club.

As a team, the Bulldogs posted a first round score of 348. Overall, Cumberlands (Ky.) leads after the first day of competition, posting a score of 326 as a team.

Individually, Katie Nusz led Union in round one, firing an 82 (44-38) to put herself in a tie for sixth overall. Elsewhere, Brittany Zins is in a tie for 11th, posting a first round score of 84 (41-43), while Danielle Judd and Sydney Smith rounded out the top performances on the day for Union, both shooting 91's to put themselves in a tie for 22nd overall.
