SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The National Association of the Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Monday that 244 Division II women's basketball student-athletes have been named 2013-14 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Union placed one student-athlete on the list as Marah Rice (SR, Scottsville, Ky.) made the grade.

This is the second year in a row Rice received the honor, making her the fifth Bulldog to earn the honor more than once.

On the court, the senior averaged 5.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Rice scored a career-high 19 points against Milligan on Jan. 30, hitting five 3-pointers in the 86-63 victory.
