BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College cross country head coach Joel Childs has announced that Caleb Bailey has signed his National Letter of Intent and will join the Bulldogs' program this Fall. Bailey is the first signing for Childs and the Union program for the year.

Bailey will join the Union program from Harlan County High School in Baxter, Ky., where he ran cross country for the Black Bears.

"Having Caleb is a great start to our recruiting class for this year," said Childs. "He is a great student-athlete, who will fit in with our team chemistry and future goals. He will adds certain intangibles as well as a great work ethic, which we are very excited to have on our team.

"This also bolsters our reputation as we continue to look for the best talent that the area has to offer. We could not be more excited with what Caleb will be bringing to our team and we know we will be immediately better with this contributions."

Union is a member of both the NAIA and the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
