LEXINGTON, Ky. - Union junior Paige Moore was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NAIA All-Northeast Region first time, the coaches' organization announced on Friday.

This is the first time the Louisville, Ky., native made the ACVA all-region team, but it is the sixth year in a row Union has placed at least one player on the squad.

Moore led the Bulldogs in kills with 453. She also boasts a team-best .285 hitting percentage and has 138 digs to her credit. Moore ranks 33rd in the NAIA in total kills and 50th in kills per set with 3.46. She posted a career-high 24 kills in a 3-2 loss against Cumberlands (Ky.) on Oct. 10.

For her career, Moore has 856 kills, a .258 hitting percentage and 345 digs.

The outside hitter was named to the All-Appalachian Athletic Conference first team and was the AAC Player and Hitter of the Week twice this season. 

Union finished the season 26-9 overall and 17-3 in conference play.
