BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College's Anna Kotliarova has been named the Appalachian Swimming Conference's Women's Swimmer of the Week for the period ending Nov. 24, the league announced Tuesday. 

Kotilarova, a junior, won four events in leading the Bulldogs to wins over Transylvania (Ky.) and Bethel (Tenn.) this past weekend at the Stivers Aquatic Center.

The Kharkov, Ukraine native began the day by blazing to a 26.75 fly-split on the winning 200-medley relay (1:51.68). In her individual events, Kotliarova won the 200-free in 2:00.00, the 100-free in 53.96, and the 100-fly in 1:00.94. All three individual events, along with the relay, achieved the NAIA "A" Qualifying standard. In the ASC, Kotliarova is currently ranked first in the 100-free (53.96), fourth in the 200-free (2:00.00), and second in the 100-fly (1:00.94).

Kotliarova and the rest of the Bulldogs swimming teams return to action on Dec. 6, as the program hosts their annual Winter Invitational at the Stivers Aquatic Center. The event runs through Dec. 7.
