GRAYSON, Ky. - Union College guard Sean Brown poured in a team-high 29 points, leading the Bulldogs to a 116-100 victory over Miami-Hamilton (Ohio) at the KCU Super 8 Classic on Friday evening.

With the win, Union won their fourth straight game to bump their record up on the year to 5-1. Miami-Hamilton dropped to 0-5 with the loss.

In the first period, things were close early on, as the Bulldogs fell behind for the first time in three games early in the half. With the Bulldogs up 16-12 at the 13-minute mark, they blew the game open with a 13-6 run to go up by double-digits (29-18) with nine minutes left in the period. Miami-Hamilton, however, cut the lead back down to four points (33-29) with 5:59 left in the period.

This marked the closest Miami-Hamilton came to the Union lead the rest of the night, as the Bulldogs raced on a 14-4 run to open up a 47-33 lead with two minutes left. Union held onto the double-digit lead into the locker room for the break, as they led 52-41 at the half.

In the second half, it was more of the same, as Union held a double-digit lead throughout. With 5:51 left, the Bulldogs opened an insurmountable 101-79 lead, their biggest of the night, and proceeded to coast down the stretch for the 16-point victory.

Overall, Brown led seven Union double-digit scorers on the evening with his career-high 29-point night. The sophomore shot 10-of-13 from the floor in the win. Meanwhile, Fitzgerald White recorded the first double-double of the year for the Bulldogs, scoring 22 points and snatching 10 rebounds.
