ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Union College's Aline Dalmedico was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference's Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 10, the league announced on Monday.

Dalmedico, a junior, led the Bulldogs last week, as the team played two matches in the 2013 AAC Tournament.

First, in an opening round tilt with Bryan on Tuesday, Dalmedico notched a hat trick, scoring three goals to lead the Bulldogs to a dominating 4-0 victory. It was Dalmedico's third hat trick of the season, as she also recorded an assist on Union's other goal scored on the day.

She followed up that performance by scoring the lone goal on the day for Union in a 2-1 overtime loss at Montreat (N.C.) in the AAC Quarterfinals on Saturday. The score came late in the contest (the 86th minute) with the Bulldogs down 1-0, and ultimately sent the match into extra frames.

For the year, Dalmedico has been Union's offensive leader, ending the season scoring a team-high 18 goals (out of 32 total goals scored by the Bulldogs on the 2013 season). She will also end the 2013 season as one of the Nation's leaders in shots, as she currently ranks fourth in the NAIA in shots per game at 6.39.

The Union women's soccer team ended the 2013 season with a 7-11 overall mark.
