BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College's Callie Harrigan was named the Appalachian Swimming Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday. 

Harrigan, a junior, led the Bulldogs on a big day in a dual-meet at Asbury this past weekend, as the women's team got past host Eagles, 136-122.

In the meet, Harrigan posted three individual wins, along with three NAIA "A" Cuts in those respective events. She captured the 200-free with a time of 2:01.24, the 50-free with a time of 25.66, and the 200-backstroke with a time of 2:14.96. She finished up the day by anchoring the 800-free relay team to a second place swim with a split of 1:58.60.

Harrigan and the rest of the Bulldog women's swimming team returns to action on Saturday, traveling to Campbellsville (Ky.) to take on the host Tigers and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.). Action gets underway at 11 a.m.
