WALESKA, Ga. - The Union women's golf team is in seventh place following the opening round of the Reinhardt (Ga.) Invitational/Fall Applachian Athletic Conference Tournament on Monday.

The Bulldogs carded a 356 to put them seventh in the field of 10. SCAD Atlanta (Ga.) is in first at 323, while Tennessee Wesleyan is second in 326 and St. Andrews (N.C.) is third at 330. Milligan (Tenn.) posted a 331 to come in fourth, and Reinhardt and Point (Ga.) are fifth and sixth at 351 and 353, respectively.

Katie Nusz leads Union with an 85, placing her in a tie for 21st. Syndey Smith and Danielle Judd each shot an 89, placing them both in 28th place. Elizabeth Haack is 38th with 93.

Milligan's Ann Sullivan leads the field with a 76.

The second and final round will get under way on Tuesday.
