CLEVELAND, Ga. - The Union volleyball team posted its third Appalachian Athletic Conference win in a row with a 3-0 sweep over host Truett-McConnell (Ga.) on Friday.

The Bulldogs had little trouble dispatching the Lady Bears, winning 25-8, 25-6, 25-12.

"We played well tonight, especially from the service line," said Union head coach Jeremy Wise. "Heather Fields set the tone each set by setting us big leads, and the front row was very efficient. That allowed us to play everyone tonight and try a few new lineups and rotations. Everyone contributed to our success tonight."

Fields posted 24 assists and had 10 digs in the sweep victory. Paige Moore had a team-high nine kills with Karina Ramos following with seven.

With the win, Union improves to 12-5 overall and 6-2 in conference play. Truett-McConnell is 2-12 overall and 0-10 in the AAC.
