BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union head tennis coach Bob Duricko continues to lay the foundation for the Lady Bulldog program as he recently signed Brooke Green of Corbin, Ky., to the 2013-14 squad.

"We are pleased to have Brooke join our program," said Duricko. "She is a good student and was a solid player in high school, and I look forward to see what we can bring to Union and to see what the future holds for her."

A 2011 graduate of Lynn Camp High School, Green spent the past two years at Somerset Community College where received her associates degree this spring. She will be a junior at Union this fall.

Green played four years for Lynn Camp, participating in the region tournament all four seasons. She played No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Lady Wildcats.

Tennis is making its return at Union following a two-year hiatus. The tennis programs were suspended following the 2011 season. Prior to the recent hiatus, the women's program amassed four AAC regular-season championships, three AAC tournament crowns, two region championships and five berths to the NAIA National Championship Tournament.
