BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College men's soccer coach Tyler Brock has announced that Josh Lawson will transfer into the Bulldog program in time for summer practices in a few months. Lawson comes to UC from Alice Lloyd (Ky.), where he played basketball this past season.

Lawson, a native of Pennington Gap, Va., will be a goalkeeper for the Bulldogs when he joins the program. He prepped at Lee High School, where he was an All-District 29 selection on the boy's soccer team.

"Josh has good size and is an athletic goalkeeper," said Brock. "We need to get him back in the goal on a normal basis over this summer so he gives himself the best opportunity to compete. We are very excited about working with Josh over the next few years to help become the best goalkeeper he can"

Josh, the son of David and Kim Lawson, plans to major in biology at Union College.
