LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Union College men's and women's track & field teams continued their outdoor season on Saturday, taking part in the Bellarmine (Ky.) Invitational. 

On the men's side, Dalton Whitney had the Bulldogs' highest finish on the day in an event, finishing 10th in the triple jump with a 40 foot, 9.75 inch effort. Meanwhile, William White finished 15th in the javelin after a 134 foot toss. White also finished 20th in the shot put (38 feet, 6.75 inch effort), and broke a school record in the hammer throw with a 117 foot, 3.5 inch toss. 

For the women, Kayse Cornett placed 12th in the hammer throw (78 feet, nine inches), while Christa Hicks finished 14th in the javelin (91 feet, two inches). Both marks were also new school records in those events. 

The Union College track & field teams return to action on Saturday, taking part in the Cumberlands (Ky.) Invitational.
