BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College softball team hits the road Tuesday, and will face a stern test at AAC-foe Reinhardt (Ga.). The conference doubleheader between the Lady Bulldogs and the 13th ranked Lady Eagles is set to begin at 5 p.m.

UC, (7-5 overall, 2-0 in the AAC), comes into Tuesday night's games off a spilt in their last pair of games on Friday against Taylor (Ind.). In the first game of the doubleheader, junior Katie Perkins tossed a complete game three-hitter to pace the Lady Bulldogs to a 3-1 win. UC dropped the second game, 8-0.

On the year, Union has been led at the dish by sophomore shortstop Ashley Wojnowski, who is batting an AAC best .533, while currently riding a five-game hitting streak. Perkins is 5-1 overall in the circle, and has won her last three starts, as well.

Reinhardt (18-3, 2-0 AAC) comes into Tuesday night's game on a six-game winning streak, extending out to that mark after a doubleheader sweep of St. Andrews (N.C.) on Saturday (10-3, 3-0). The Lady Eagles have been led all year by pitcher Maddie Monroe, who is a perfect 10-0 overall with a 1.08 ERA.
