BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College women's soccer coach Camila Mendes has announced that Amanda Darling has signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Lady Bulldog program this fall.

Darling has prepped at Milford High School in Milford, Ohio, where for the last two seasons she has been a member of the girls soccer team playing defender. She has also played select soccer for the last four years, most recently with the Cincinnati United Southeast Revolution.

Darling has also earned a Dean's Honor Scholarship from Union, as she boasts a 3.97 GPA. She is a member of the National Honors Society, and has earned academic honors the past four years at Milford High School.

Darling, the daughter of Jerry and Judy Darling, plans to major in Nursing at Union College.

The Lady Bulldogs, members of the NAIA and the Appalachian Athletic Conference, finished the 2012 season with an 11-6-1 overall record.
