BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College men's cross country and track head coach Jamie Ness has announced that Nick Cash has signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Bulldog program this fall

Cash, a native of Somerset, Ky., has prepped at Pulaski County High School. There, he has competed on the cross country and track teams, and will do the same at Union. Ness will look to Cash to lead the cross country team, as well as run long distance events for the Bulldogs on the track.

"I expect Nick to be one of our top distance runners next season and the years to come.," said Ness. "We're trying to build a larger, stronger cross country program, and Nick will certainly play a large role in making that happen."

The Union College men's track & field team opens their outdoor season on Mar. 22 at the Mt. St. Joseph's meet in Cincinnati, Ohio.
