KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Union College men's swimming team has moved up to third in the second NAIA Men's Swimming & Diving Coaches Poll of the 2012-13 season, the organization announced Tuesday.

Staying in the top spot in the poll is Oklahoma Baptist, who garnered all five first place votes, and 30 points overall. Moving up a spot to second is SCAD-Savannah (Ga.) with 18 total points, followed by the Bulldogs with 15 total points. Rounding out the poll is Cumberlands (Ky.) in fourth and Concordia (Calif.) in fifth.

Union closed out it's dual meet schedule impressively over the weekend, sweeping past Campbellsville (Ky.), Bethel (Tenn.), and King (Tenn.) to end the dual-meet season with a 13-1 record. Before the meet, UC honored two seniors, Luis Ambrosio and Louis Glavinos Jr., for their contributions to the program.

The Union men's swimming team will return to action in a few weeks when UC hosts the 2013 Appalachian Swimming & Diving Conference Championships at Stivers Aquatic Center. The event runs from Feb. 14 through Feb. 16.
