BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College men's basketball team returns to action Saturday, hosting the top team in Appalachian Athletic Conference, Tennessee Wesleyan. Tip-off at Robsion Arena is set for 6 p.m.

UC, 9-11 overall and 3-6 in the AAC, snapped a four-game losing streak at St. Andrews (N.C.) on Wednesday, using a big second half to surge past the Knights, 102-87. In the win, Tarik Smith and Tyler Wagner each scored 23 points to lead the way.

Tennessee Wesleyan (15-7 overall, 8-1 in AAC) comes into the game on a roll, winners of their last eight games. TWC extended the winning streak on Wednesday against Bryan (Tenn.) at home with an 85-63 victory. The Bulldogs are also receiving votes in the latest NAIA Division II Coaches Poll.

In the first match-up of the year between the teams on Dec. 1, Tennessee Wesleyan pulled away in the second half in a 90-77 win in Athens. TWC was led in the win by Zamarius McClendon, who scored a game-high 32 points.
