BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College men's basketball team is back in action Thursday night, traveling to Berea (Ky.) for an out-of-conference tilt. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs, 5-5 on the year, will be looking to bounce back after losing their last game this past Saturday at AAC-foe Tennessee Wesleyan, 90-77. In the loss, Tarik Smith once again led UC in the scoring column with 24 points. In marked the fifth time on the young season that the junior has scored over 20 points, and the eighth time he's scored in double-digits (in nine games played).

Berea comes in with a 7-3 overall mark. The Mountaineers' last game was an exhibition contest at NCAA Division-I member Tennessee Tech, a game they dropped 69-45. Berea boasts one of the more prolific offenses in all of NAIA Division II, scoring 90.5 points per game, which is the fifth best mark in the entire country.
