CHARLESTON, S.C. - NCAA Division I member The Citadel (S.C.) jumped out to a 15-0 lead in the first four and a half minutes, and never looked back, beating the Union College men's basketball team, 92-50 at McAlister Fieldhouse on Saturday evening. The game was an exhibition tilt for Union. 

Overall, Union was led in the loss by James Strange, who came off the bench and scored 13 points. Sergio Gonzalez was UC's other double-digit scorer on the night with 10 points. The Citadel was led in the victory by Matt Van Scyoc, who led four double-digit scorers with 17 points.

Union returns to action on Tuesday, hosting Olivet (Mich.) at Robsion Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
