OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Union College men's basketball team rallied back from a halftime deficit to notch a 77-70 victory over Brescia (Ky.) at the Owensboro Sportscenter on Thursday night.

With with the victory, the Bulldogs improved to 4-1 overall. while Brescia fell to 1-3 with the loss. 

At halftime, Brescia held a 34-31 lead over the Bulldogs, but Union roared back in the second half, outscoring the Bearcats by ten (46-36) to take the road victory. The win for Union avenged a 82-72 loss to Brescia on Oct. 29 at Robsion Arena. 

Leading the way for the Bulldogs on the night was Tarik Smith, who had 16 points. Meanwhile, four Union players scored 14 points. apiece - Archie Adams, Matthew Thomas, and Josh Smith. Rounding out the double-digit scorers on the night was Sergio Gonzalez, who finished with 12. 

Union returns to action tomorrow evening, staying in Owensboro to take on NCAA Division II foe Kentucky Wesleyan in an exhibition contest. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. eastern.
