ROSELAND, NJ - Union seniors Mike BrinkleyC.J. Hunnicutt,  Rob Brown and Bert Brown have been invited to participate in the USA Football Holiday Bowl, a four-day, three-night nationally-televised event set for Dec. 14 -17, 2012 in Virginia Beach, Va.

The USA Football Holiday Bowl includes standout senior all-stars from the NAIA, National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The game will be played at the Beach Sportsplex under pro conditions on the home turf of the Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League (UFL) on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012. 

On the eve of the game, the USA Small College Football Awards Banquet will be held, featuring the presentation of national small college football awards.

Through two games, Brinkley has completed 28-of-49 passes for 462 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for an additional 25 yards on 10 carries. The Anthony, Fla., native holds the school records for most touchdown passes in a game (6), a season (32) and career (82) and is 288 yards away from the career yardage record. Brinkley currently has thrown for 7,592 yards during his tenure. Joey Waters holds the mark at 7,880.

Hunnicutt is a starting defensive lineman for the Bulldogs and has nine total tackles with one sack this season. For his career, the Bradenton, Fla., native has 39 total stops and 3.0 sacks and a pass breakup.

Rob Brown, a running back from Daytona, Fla., is averaging 5.1 yards per carry this season with 182 yards on 36 attempts. He has scored one rushing touchdowns and has caught two passes for 27 yards and another score. Brown ranks fourth on the all-time rushing list with 2,199 career yards and has 3,773 career all-purpose yards.

Brown's twin brother, Bert, recently earned Mid-South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors after blocking a potential game-winning 22-yard field goal in Union's 14-13 victory at Campbellsville (Ky.). A defensive back, Brown has seven total tackles this season to go along with two pass breakups. He has 135 career tackles as well as 25 pass deflections, seven interceptions and five blocked kicks.

Union is 1-1 on the year and plays host to rival Cumberlands (Ky.) Saturday at 12 p.m.
