LONDON, Ky. - Brittany Zins posted a two-day score of 172 to lead the Union women's golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Bill Sergent Invitational on Friday at the Crooked Creek Golf Club in London, Ky.

The Lady Bulldogs finished with a score of 702 to claim fourth, edging fifth-place Milligan (Tenn.) by three strokes.

Host Cumberlands (Ky.) won the eight-team event with a score of 616, while Lee (Tenn.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) placed second and third, respectively, as they carded scores of 631 and 661. 

Zins' 172 was good enough to tie her for 19th overall. Ashley Buxton placed 25th with her 174, Katie Nusz was 27th at 177, and Danielle Judd was 28th with a 178. Kelli Hensley rounded out Union's scoring with a 188 for 34th.

Cumberlands' Liz Stephens won the event with a two-day tally of 146.

Union next plays at the Fall Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament on Sept. 24-25 in Athens, Tenn.
