BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Union College head men's soccer coach Tyler Brock has announced that Houston Stagner, a native of Hopkinsville, Ky., has signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Bulldog program this fall.

Stagner, who prepped at Hopkinsville High School, plans to be a defender for the Bulldogs.

"Houston was introduced to us by Coach Tyler Stallons, a former Union College soccer player," said Brock. "He is good defender and played left back for his high school team. I think Houston is ready to show what he can do at the next level."

The Bulldogs, members of the NAIA and the Appalachian Athletic Conference, finished last season with a 10-7-2 overall mark.
