BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Union College head bowling coach Brad Piper has announced that Katelynn George has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Lady Bulldog program this fall. George is a native of Crowley, Texas.

George had prepped at Crowley High School, where she has bowled for head coach Paul Jones. There, she has been the teams captain the last four seasons, and won the 2010-11 Regional Girls Championship. She also placed fifth in the entire state at a tournament in 2010, and  boasts a career-high game of 286.

Katelynn, the daughter of Russell and Deborah George, plans to major in marketing at Union College.
