LEXINGTON, Ky. - Jonathan Courtney and Christy King took home All-Tournament Team honors as the Union men's and women's bowling teams each placed ninth at the 2012 Thomas N. Burris Memorial Kentucky Collegiate Classic in Lexington, Ky., over the weekend.

Courtney (Georgetown, Ky.) finished fourth out of 104 bowlers individually with a total pin fall of 1,055. He posted a three-game high of 641.

Meanwhile, on the women's side, King (Cookeville, Tenn.) notched a fifth-place finish out of 71 bowlers with a total pin fall of 944. Her three-game high was 533.

The Bulldogs tallied a total pin fall of 6,353 to come in ninth out of 11 teams. Morehead State won the event with a 7,558, while Pikeville was second at 7,294. After Courtney, Michael Davenport (Delaware, Ohio) placed 11th with Joey Davenport (Delaware, Ohio) came in 28th.

The Lady Bulldogs finished a pin fall of 2,795. Pikeville won with a score of 7,163.

This marks the end of the regular season for the bowling teams. Up next is the regional, which will be announced at a later date.
