BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Union College women's soccer players Jenn Sckirl, Nikki Jeck, Casey Camargo, and Kristina Kirk have been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Capital One Academic All-District Team, the organization announced recently.

All four earned a spot on the District 4 College Division team.

Sckirl (Edmonton, AB Canada), a junior midfielder, earns a spot on the team after posting a 3.45 GPA as an athletic training major at Union. 

On the field, Sckril has started all 17 matches for the Lady Bulldogs, scoring four goals and recording six assists for a 14 point total for the year. 

Jeck (Richmond, Ky.), a senior and also a midfielder, was selected to the squad with a 3.91 GPA as an elementary education major at UC. 

On the pitch, Jeck has been one of the offensive leaders for the Lady Bulldogs during the 2011 season, scoring seven goals, and adding four assists for a point total of 18.

Camargo (Lexington, Ky.), a junior defender, has recorded a 3.5 GPA as an athletic training major at Union to earn a spot on the team. 

This season, she has been one of the leaders of the Lady Bulldog defensive unit, while also recording an assist on the year in 17 matches played

Kirk (Versailes, Ky.), a senior, and also a defender, has a 3.49 GPA as a biology major at UC. 

On the pitch in 2011, has also been a leader of the Union defense, making a start in all 17 matches the Lady Bulldogs have played in on the year to date.

Union, who is 10-7 on the year, return to action on Thursday when they take on Reinhardt in the semifinals of the 2011 AAC Women's Soccer Tournament. The match, which will be played at Reinhardt, will kick off at 2:30 p.m.
