NEW ALBANY, Ind. - Union came away with a split at the Indiana Southeast tri-match as the Lady Bulldogs swept Berea (Ky.) but were swept by host IUS 3-0 on Saturday.

With the split, Union is now 9-12 overall.

In the first match, the Lady Bulldogs cruised to an easy 25-9, 25-5, 25-9 victory. Paige Moore (Louisville, Ky.) led the way with seven kills with Amelia Cantrell (Georgetown, Ky.) adding four kills and two total blocks.

Kalia Yasak (Kula, Hawaii) recorded 25 assists and five service aces, and Chelsea Kirschman (Ponte Vedra, Fla.) helped out with two total blocks.

Indiana Southeast won the next match, posting a 25-19, 25-15, 25-17 decision. Lauren McMillan (Corbin, Ky.) and Karina Ramos (Presidente Prudente, Brazil) delivered eight and seven kills, respectively. Yasak had 24 assists, and Brooke Porter (Louisville, Ky.) chipped in 13 digs. Cantrell also had three total blocks.

Union returns to action Thursday when it plays host to Appalachian Athletic Conference rival Milligan (Tenn.) at 6:30 p.m.
