CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Union men's and women's golf teams completed play in the Don Bishop Invitational at the Campbellsville Country Club with both walking away with fourth-place finishes Tuesday.

The two-day event was hosted by Campbellsville (Ky.) University.

The Lady Bulldogs compiled a two-day score of 719 after posting a 361 during the final round. Cumberlands (Ky.) rallied to overcome a nine-stroke deficit following opening round play to win the seven-team tournament with a 645. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) placed second with a 648, while Campbellsville took thrid with a 673.

Kayla Horn (London, Ky.) paced Union with a 173 to finish 14th. Brittany Zins (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Tiffany Willis (Berea, Ky.) tied for 20th with both shooting a 179. Katie Nusz (Mount Washington, Ky.) rounded out Union's scoring with a 192.

The Lady Bulldogs will next play on Oct. 3-4 at the NAIA Preview Tournament in Greeneville, Tenn.

On the men's side, Union wrapped up play with a 310 on the final round to compile a two-day tally of 619. Lindsey Wilson took top honors with a 588 with Campbellsville placing second at 594. St. Catherine (Ky.) was third at 608.

Josh Dyer (Lexington, Ky.) led Union with a 147 to tie him for third overall and place him on the All-Tournament Team. Dyer shot a 75 on the first round but came back with an even-par 72 on Tuesday. 

Garrett Bradley (Jellico, Tenn.) was next in line with a 155, Josh Oros (Pittsburgh, Pa.) followed with a 158, and Thomas Scott (Musselburgh, Scotland) added a 159.

The Bulldogs will next play on Oct. 3-4 at the Berry (Ga.) Invitational.
