BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- The Union College cycling team had another solid weekend of racing at the Dirty South Showdown held at Florida State in Tallahassee, Fla. over the weekend.

On the women's side, Union was paced by Elisa Otter, who finished first in two events - the cross country, and the short track cross country. Otter also placed third in the mountain cross.

Other top finishers for the women included Maria Esswein, who placed third in the cross country, and fourth in the short track cross country, and Kara Uhl, who was fourth in the cross country.

For the men, Wesley Lamberson led the way, winning the mountain cross. He also finished third in short track cross country, and fourth in cross country.

Zach Winn finished second in cross country, third in mountain cross, and fourth in short track cross country, while Brad Nelson placed second in the short track cross country, and third in the cross country. Drake Lindsey rounded out the top finishers in the race with a fifth place finish in cross country.

The Union cycling team returns to action this weekend when they travel to Atlanta for a race hosted at Georgia Tech.
