BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - For the second week in a row, Union College senior quarterback Joey Waters has garnered yet another honor following his record-setting weekend as Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette has tabbed him as the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week, the magazine announced Thursday.

Waters (McDonough, Ga.) became the first Bulldog to throw over 500 yards as he completed 34-of-57 passes for 518 yards and four touchdowns. The 34 completions tied the single-game record while the four touchdowns equaled Waters' career high.

This marked the fourth game in a row, and fifth overall, that Waters has thrown for more than 300 yards. He now has 2,915 passing yards on the season and a school-record 24 touchdowns.

This is the third time this season Waters has received this honor.

Union is 3-7 overall on the season and 1-3 in MSC East play. The Bulldogs will close out the season Saturday at 1:30 p.m. against host Georgetown (Ky.) College.
