CLEVELAND, Ohio - Former Union running back Armond Smith posted another strong showing, rushing for 90 yards and a touchdown in the Cleveland Browns' 30-28 loss to Detroit in NFL preseason action Friday.

Smith's big highlight of the evening came early in the second half when he broke loose for an 81-yard touchdown run. To see video of the play, click here.

The touchdown put Cleveland up 28-13 with 12:19 to play in the third.

However, Detroit accounted for the game's final 17 points to pull out the two-point decision.

Smith finished the evening with 90 yards rushing on six carries and caught one pass for 10 yards. Through two preseason games, he has tallied 131 yards rushing on 16 attempts.

Cleveland's next preseason game is Thursday at Philadelphia.
