DAYTON, Tenn. -- The Union College softball team dropped a pair of games to host Bryan on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Bulldogs lost game one of a doubleheader, 3-1, then fell in the second game 9-0.

With the losses, Union fell to 16-21 overall on the year, 1-7 in the AAC, while Bryan improved to 4-30 overall, 2-2 in the AAC with the victories.

In both games, the Lady Bulldogs failed to muster much offense against the Bryan pitching staff, as the Lady Lions pulled out a win in game one, the dominated throughout in the nine run victory in game two. With the losses, Union has now lost five games in a row after winning the first game of a doubleheader against Milligan this past Thursday.

The Lady Bulldogs will try to get back on track tomorrow when they host St. Catherine in an out-of-conference tilt. The doubleheader is slated to begin at 1 p.m. at Union Field.
