GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Union men's track & field team ended their weeked with some impressive performances at the DePauw Indoor Invitational on Saturday, which was held at the Hollensteiner Track at DePauw University.

The Bulldogs only took part in track events on the afternoon and still finished in a tie for seventh out of 21 teams after recording 38 points on the day.

The first performance of note was recorded by freshman Steven Carron, who captured the 600m run with a time of 1:22.90. Carron also placed fifth in the 200m dash in a time of  23.42. Meanwhile, fellow freshman Jaquan Holland was equally impressive on the afternoon, as he captured the 400m dash in 51.16, while also placing third in the 200m dash in 23.10.

The last performance of note for the Bulldogs was notched by another freshman in Issac Kangogo, who finished second in the 3000m run with a time of 9:02.68.

The Union track & field teams return to action on Saturday, Feb. 19th when they take part in the Kent State Tune-Up in Kent, Ohio.
