MONROE, La. -- The Union men's basketball team dropped an 87-66 decision at NCAA Division I member Louisiana Monroe on Tuesday night in exhibition action.

In the first half, ULM took an early lead, and never looked back the rest of the night, eventually opening up an insurmountable 51-26 lead with 1:44 left in the period as the Warhawks took a 55-32 lead at the half.

In the second half, the Bulldogs played tough, as they outscored the Warhawks 34-32 in the period. However, the closest Union got to the ULM lead the rest of the night was 13 points (70-57), as the Warhawks coasted to the convincing victory.

Union was led on the night by sophomore Turrell Morris (Columbus, Ohio), who scored 25 points and pulled down a season-high 15 rebounds (six of which were on the offensive end). Morris notched his ninth double-double of the season in the losing effort, as well.
