BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Union College women's soccer players Patricia Nardy, Ashley Hall and Renata Peixoto have been named to the 2010 NSCAA/Performance Subaru Women's NAIA All-East Region Team.

Hall (Hazard, Ky.) and Nardy (Sao Paulo, Brazil), both seniors, earned a spot on the 13-person squad for the second straight year. Meanwhile, Peixoto (Brasilia, Brazil), also a senior, was selected to the team for the first time in her career.

Hall ended the 2010 season as the Appalachian Athletic Conferences leading goal scorer after finding the back of the net 20 times. She also scored five game-winners on the year and ended the season with 42 points, also a conference best mark.

For her efforts, Hall was named the AAC Player of the Year and was an NAIA All-American.

Nardy, who was also an NAIA All-American, ended the year with a 1.25 goals against average and made 112 saves in net to lead the Union defensive unit. Nardy also posted four shutouts on the season.

Peixoto, who was an All-AAC selection, finished the year second on the team in points scored with 25 (nine goals and seven assists). Three of those goals were goal-winners.

Union finished the 2010 season with 12-6-1 overall mark and earned a spot in the AAC Conference Tournament semifinals. To view the entire team, click here.
