BACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. -- The Union College cross country teams concluded its 2010 season on Saturday, at the 2010 AAC Cross Country Championships held on the Back Mountain Campus of Montreat College. In the event, the Union men's team placed fourth overall, while the women's squad finished fifth.

For the men, junior Eric Kinman (Erlanger, Ky.) was the Bulldogs' top finisher on the day, placing 21st in 27:21.58. Meanwhile, freshman Joey Landrum (Elsmer, Ky.) finished 30th after running the 8k course in 28:23.06 and senior Daniel Kual (Atlanta, Ga.) crossed the finish line in 28:27.06 to finish right behind Landrum in 31st.

On the women's side, sophomore Cassy Kost (Owensboro, Ky.) was the top finisher after running the 5k course in 22:30.38 to place 21st overall. Freshman Lauren Johns (Stockbridge, Ga.) placed 24th in 23:33.95, while fellow freshman Amanda Merida (Barbourville, Ky.) finished 37th in 26:28.10.

Overall on the men's side, Bryan took the conference championship, while in the women's meet, Milligan took top team honors on the day to earn a conference title.
