MONTREAT, N.C. - Senior Ashley Hall put on an offensive display by scoring a career-high four goals to lead the Union College women's soccer team to a convincing 6-1 victory over Montreat on Saturday afternoon in Appalachian Athletic Conference action.

With the victory, the Lady Bulldogs moved to 8-6-0 overall, 4-1 in the AAC, while Montreat fell to 1-10 overall, 0-4 in the AAC.

Union put the game out of Montreat's reach early on, posting a 5-0 lead after the first period of play.

Along with Hall's (Hazard, Ky.) four scores, Renata Peixoto (Brasilla, Brazil) netted her eighth goal of the year, while Patrica Nardy (Sao Paulo, Brazil) - who started the game in goal and made a save - added the game's last goal on a penalty kick.

Meanwhile, Peixoto added her eighth assist of the season; while sophomore Nikki Jeck (Richmond, Ky.) got her name on the score sheet with a recorded assist. The assist was her second of the year and her second in as many games.

With the four goals scored, Hall has now scored 15 goals on the season (for a season point total of 32 points). Also, with the win, Union extends their match-winning streak to three and has won the three contests by a combined score of 16-1.

Union now takes a break from action and return to the pitch on Wednesday, Oct. 20th when they travel to Tennessee Wesleyan. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
